Senior Accounting Manager

The Company
Our client is a fast-growing industrial manufacturer with a mission-critical product line serving markets like data centers. Revenue has nearly doubled in recent years and is projected to grow several times over. This is a build-ahead-of-the-curve hire, not a reactive one.
The Role
Newly created position overseeing General Accounting and Accounts Payable, reporting directly to the Controller. Clear path toward a future Controller-level role.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the AP and General Accounting teams
- Own fixed assets, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close
- Drive AP process and working capital/DPO strategy
- Partner with IT on ERP and automation improvements
- Serve as key point of contact for external auditors
- Support new facility construction and fixed asset projects
Profile
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience (flexible to 7 for a strong Accounting Manager)
- Corporate/industry background preferred over straight public accounting
- Experience at a $250M revenue company
- Strong ERP experience a plus
- Hands-on and willing to be in the details, not just direct from the top
