The Company
Our client is a family-owned healthcare company experiencing rapid multi-state expansion. The business operates a growing network of outpatient clinics and is building its finance function from the ground up to support continued scale.
This is not a corporate bureaucracy. It is a founder-mentality environment where the right person will have real ownership and real impact.
The Role
First accounting hire for the organization. Reports directly to the CFO.
This person will own financial reporting, AR oversight, and close responsibilities across all clinic locations while also supporting acquisition integration and system buildout. The expectation is that this role grows into a team leadership position as the company scales.
No playbook exists yet. They need someone who can build one.
What You'll Own
- Monthly close and financial reporting across a multi-site clinic network
- AR and revenue cycle oversight from patient encounter to payment
- Budget preparation and variance analysis
- Acquisition due diligence and accounting integration support
- CAPEX tracking and internal controls
- Process documentation and accounting infrastructure buildout
- Direct collaboration with CFO and revenue cycle leadership
Profile
- 5 years of healthcare accounting experience
- Minimum 3 years in a multi-site environment
- Strong US GAAP knowledge with AR and billing depth
- Familiarity with EMR systems (WebPT, Prompt, or similar)
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable building structure in an ambiguous environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required

Primarily onsite in Brentwood, TN with flexibility possible after initial integration period.

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
