We have an opening for a Scheduling Coordinator who can answer yes to these questions. Scheduling Coordinator/Office Manager Primary Responsibilities:
Schedule caregivers with clients and communicate with all parties
Confirm and update caregiver availability including vacation, sick time, and holidays
Document skills and attributes of caregivers to ensure strong matching to clients
Follow up with new caregiver hires to explain the scheduling process
Establish a great rapport with caregivers and clients
Conduct new-hire orientation and assist with training
Communicate with client's families and the VA
Occasional job duties could include billing invoices
Communicate with nurse and ensure quarterly visits are maintained
Conduct in-home assessments with new clients
Coordinate with owner and other office staff to ensure smooth business operations
Scheduling Coordinator Requirements:
Experience – One year of experience in a home care setting preferred
Education – High school diploma
Skills – Exceptional customer service skills, time management skills, excellent communication skills
Characteristics – This is an autonomous position, so we’re looking for individuals who are self-motivated and willing to learn.
