What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge position at Synergy Global Housing, LLC?

SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the General Manager the Concierge assists guests with maintenance and specialty requests, as well as apartment deficiencies.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: (Employee may perform any combination of the essential functions shown below.   • Execute monthly guest activities and social events
  • Greet all persons entering the building with a friendly service attitude and tone
  • Be creative and informative when serving guests with their needs
  • Provide information on facilities and services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and transportation schedules
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to enrich the guest experience working directly with potential vendors, partners and suppliers to assure the Synergy experience is extended to all who come in contact with the guest
  • Be engaging, personable, professional and welcoming
  • Arrange tickets, bookings, appointments and reservations
  • Keep abreast of all property happenings and communicate with management and guests
  • Organize, log, and track communication with vendors, and local businesses
  • Track all guests requests with proper attention and follow up; recording all details in company software platform
  • Handle meet and greets for VIPs
  • Scan, log, organize and distribute all incoming mail packages for guests
  • Constantly organize workload and adapt to changes with management company and identify ways in which we can improve overall service

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of:
  • Proficient in usage Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills while able to build rapport and maintain working relationships while delivering a high standard for service.
  • Solves a variety of problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge in Oscar preferred but not required

Abilities:

  • Creative problem solver with “do whatever it takes to get the job done” approach, customer service/positive attitude/approachable, organized, detail-oriented and effective time management skills/ability to multitask.
  • Delivers service with a smile. Actively communicates and seeks to develop solid working relationships with a variety of people
  • Negotiates and resolves issues and problems related to guest issues while aware and sensitive to errors and mistakes that can occur and minimizes them.
  • Maintains a high level of positive self-confidence whilst either working independently and/or within group setting.
