Job description
- Accept deliveries from carriers such as UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and USPS.
- Verify package labels and recipient information.
- Sign for deliveries when required.
Logging and Tracking
- Enter packages into a package management system or logbook.
- Record the resident or employee name, unit/office number, and delivery time.
- Scan packages if a digital tracking system is used.
Organizing Packages
- Sort packages by apartment, suite, or recipient.
- Store packages safely in designated package rooms or shelves.
- Keep the package area organized and secure.
Notifying Recipients
- Notify residents or employees that their package has arrived (via email, text, or building app).
- Release packages when recipients arrive and confirm identity if necessary.
