Concierge Drop is a fast-growing home services company operating inside 200 luxury residential buildings across New York City. We’re opening a new dry cleaning storefront in Midtown Manhattan and looking for an experienced operations manager to run the day-to-day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming dry cleaning and laundry orders
- Tagging and logging all orders into our system accurately
- Supervising daily dry cleaning and laundry operations to ensure high standards of quality
- Coordinating pickups and dropoffs with our driver and wholesale cleaning partner
- Inspecting completed garments for quality before they go back to customers
- Managing outgoing orders and ensuring on-time delivery back to residents
- Overseeing equipment and supplies — maintenance and inventory control
- Conducting regular facility inspections to uphold cleanliness and operational efficiency
- Developing staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Enforcing safety and sanitation protocols in compliance with industry standards
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or garment care operations — this is a must
- Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning operations
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable running an operation independently
- Familiar with order tracking and basic computer/tablet systems
- Hospitality or housekeeping management experience a plus
- NYC based — Midtown Manhattan location
