Senior Analyst, Global Supply Chain Analytics & Automation
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst is an individual contributor responsible for supporting complex global supply chain initiatives through analytics, process support, and execution across multiple business units.
This role partners with Global Supply Chain and Category Leaders to define business problems, conduct analyses, and develop fact-based recommendations that support decision-making and implementation.
In addition to core analytical responsibilities, the role owns and executes small to medium AI and automation initiatives focused on improving sourcing and supply chain processes, data management, and reporting efficiency. This includes applying AI-enabled tools and automation techniques to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and accelerate analysis.
The role operates with limited supervision and requires strong self-management skills while serving as a key analytical and execution partner. It emphasizes practical application of analytical tools and continuous process improvement within established frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Analytics & Decision Support (30%)
- Own analytical workstreams from problem definition through recommendation.
- Gather, clean, and structure data across sourcing and procurement systems.
- Perform spend analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Translate findings into clear, decision-ready recommendations, including risks and tradeoffs.
- Develop dashboards and reports to measure sourcing performance.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve the efficiency, consistency, and speed of analysis.
- Create process maps to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
AI & Automation Enablement (30%)
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation tools to sourcing, supply chain, and analytical processes.
- Design and implement small- to medium-scale automation solutions that reduce manual effort.
- Automate repeatable activities such as data preparation, reporting, bid analysis, intake processes, and workflows.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to support data analysis, summarization, and workflow efficiency.
- Develop reusable templates, scripts, and workflows to standardize outputs.
- Support pilot initiatives for new tools and scale successful solutions across the team.
- Partner with stakeholders to integrate automation into existing tools and business processes.
Support Sourcing Initiatives (20%)
- Support the sourcing lifecycle, including analysis, RFP development, bid evaluation, and implementation.
- Serve as an analytical partner to Category Leaders across multiple spend categories.
- Manage sourcing events within eSourcing tools, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Promote standardized approaches, templates, and tools that improve sourcing efficiency.
Process Improvement & Optimization (15%)
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and manual activities across sourcing, supply chain, and analytical workflows.
- Implement automation solutions that streamline repeatable tasks.
- Develop and maintain standardized templates, workflows, and operating procedures.
- Leverage system capabilities, including automation and AI features, to improve day-to-day operations.
- Support adoption of new processes and tools through stakeholder collaboration and guidance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve workflows based on business needs and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

- Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and business insights.
- Experience independently managing analytical workstreams from start to finish.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve business processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Basic SQL or data querying skills preferred.
- Experience with automation tools, scripting, macros, or workflow platforms.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools for reporting, analysis, and workflow optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements through automation.
