What are the responsibilities and job description for the EPM Functional Analyst position at Synergy Business Consulting, Inc.?

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–7 years of relevant experience in EPM systems, finance systems, accounting, planning, or related roles.
Hands-on functional experience with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Functional experience with EPM tools supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and/or financial close.
Strong understanding of Accounting and Financial Planning processes.
Experience working on projects, including system implementations, enhancements, or process improvement initiatives.
Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional needs.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle EPM suite of applications / Hyperion Planning.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) is a plus
Knowledge of finance systems integrations, metadata management, and reporting tools.
Familiarity with month-end close, planning cycles, and management reporting.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in Finance, Accounting, and IT.
Exposure to project management methodologies and tools.
Exposure to structured project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
