Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM Position Overview We"re seeking a Manufacturing Assembler who takes pride in building high-quality products from the ground up. In this hands-on role, you"ll assemble mechanical and electrical components into finished units that meet rigorous performance and quality standards. Every part you handle contributes directly to the reliability and reputation of what we deliver. What You"ll Do - Build and fit together parts and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions. - Examine components for accuracy, alignment, and finish; ensure completed products meet specifications. - Record production data, part numbers, and work completed in logs or digital systems. - Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently during assembly tasks. - Keep workstations organized, clean, and stocked with materials and hardware. - Identify problems or defects during assembly and work with supervisors to resolve them quickly. - Coordinate with welders, fabricators, and quality control to meet production goals and deadlines. - Suggest and participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. - Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality control policies at all times. What You Bring - High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or vocational training preferred. - Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production is strongly preferred. - Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions. - Excellent attention to detail and focus on product quality. - Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting. - Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. - Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Physical Requirements - Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance. - Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands for assembly and manipulation. - Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, or reaching overhead. - Must be able to operate basic assembly tools and equipment safely. - Requires normal hearing, vision, and tactile sensitivity for detailed assembly and inspection work.
