Assembler I (1st Shift) – Westminster, MDLocation: Westminster, MD (Onsite)Pay Rate: $23/hrShift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PMSchedule: Monday–Friday (9.5-hour days; every other Friday OFF)Job SummarySeeking a Composite Assembler I to support the production of high-precision aerospace components, including filament-wound pressure vessels and structural parts. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on manufacturing or military experience who are comfortable working with machinery, chemicals, ovens, and assembly equipment in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform all steps required to fabricate and assemble composite pressure vessels.Prepare and set up machines for production operations.Mix and prepare chemicals, adhesives, and resins according to specifications.Load and unload parts from curing ovens.Meet daily production output and follow all quality checkpoints.Perform inspections and follow proper documentation procedures.Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.Required QualificationsMinimum 1 year of manufacturing experienceOR1 year of military experienceMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to ITAR/EAR compliance)Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Associate Degree (Mechanical/Electrical Technology).Prior assembly or testing experience in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement methods.Experience with industrial machinery such as lathes, curing ovens, thermal cycling equipment, sanding tools, industrial painting tools, and standard hand tools.
