Responsibilities
Participate in practice management and supervision of multiple engagements.
Communicate proactively with clients to gather information needed for accounting and tax projects and respond to client questions.
Coordinate, plan, and supervise various tax engagements.
Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
Oversee the work of staff and senior associates.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to subordinate staff.
Review and evaluate workpapers for compliance with professional standards.
Qualifications
BBA / BS / MS in Accounting preferred.
Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred.
Advanced knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation.
4 years of public accounting experience, with emphasis on accounting and income tax preparation.
Ability to travel to client sites.
Strong attention to accuracy and deadlines.
Ability to clearly communicate professional and technical accounting/tax knowledge.
Audit and review of financial statements experience preferred, but not required.
