What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restoration Technician position at Synectics?
Key Responsibilities:
Restore classic GM vehicles from the 1960s-1980s, including Chevrolet Camaros, Chevelles, Novas, and Pontiac Firebirds.
Perform mechanical repairs, disassembly, rebuilding, and assembly.
Paint parts, undercarriage components, and firewalls to a show-quality finish.
Perform general automotive repairs and diagnostics as needed.
Maintain original specifications and high-quality restoration standards.
Requirements:
Previous hands-on classic car restoration experience is required.
Strong automotive mechanical and assembly skills.
Experience painting automotive parts is preferred.
Must own a complete set of basic automotive tools; specialty tools will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
Photos of previous restoration projects are preferred.
Exterior bodywork and full-body painting experience are a plus.
