Job Overview
We are seeking a 3-5 years experienced Associate Attorney specializing in environmental law to join the team and handle substantive litigation, regulatory, and contaminated-site matters.
Roles and Responsibilities
Handle environmental litigation, including case preparation, legal research, drafting, and advocacy.
Advise clients on environmental regulatory compliance, permitting, and applicable requirements.
Work on the remediation and redevelopment of contaminated properties.
Support the environmental aspects of complex business and real estate transactions.
Manage client relationships, collaborate with consultants and government agencies, and develop and argue legal matters independently.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in New Jersey.
3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in environmental law.
Meaningful exposure to environmental litigation, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) practice, or contaminated-site matters.
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.
