Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Manage client relationships and communicate tax matters clearly and professionally.
- Prepare supporting tax workpapers and ensure compliance with current tax regulations.
- Research complex tax issues and identify tax-saving and risk-mitigation opportunities.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Use CCH, Engagement, QuickBooks Online/Desktop, and other accounting tools.
- CPA license in Delaware preferred/required; candidates actively pursuing CPA certification may be considered.
- 5 years of tax accounting experience preferred; candidates with less experience who are actively pursuing their CPA will be considered.
- Strong experience preparing individual and business/corporate tax returns.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop; CCH/Engagement experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
