What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer position at Synectics Inc.?

Roles

  • Perform structural design of new buildings.
  • Analyze and design superstructures and foundations in timber, concrete, steel & masonry.
  • Utilize latest technology and digital tools for design.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant post education experience
  • PE license is required
  • prior internship, leadership or coursework experience.
  • Experience with Building Information Software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, detail oriented & communication skills.
  • 3 years of work experience with AutoCAD and Design Services experience
  • Passion for structures & architecture
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Experience in SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, and other design software's or digital tools.
