Primary Purpose
Responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of full estimates on large and complex projects as required by client's documents and providing complete conceptual and total bid price.
Work Arrangement: Office-based Monday-Thursday; Remote Friday

Required Skills
- 2 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, or sheet metal estimating.
- Experience estimating large-scale industrial and commercial HVAC/mechanical projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal, ductwork, materials, and installation requirements.
- Ability to perform accurate material and labor takeoffs and prepare detailed project estimates.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, construction documents, and project scopes.
- Strong understanding of project costs, labor, materials, subcontractor pricing, and bid preparation.
- Experience with QuickPen or similar estimating software is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as bid front ends, scopes of work, blueprints, safety programs, QA/QC manuals
- Junior/mid-level is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment Monday through Thursday, with remote work available on Fridays.
- Accurate bid quotations and thorough estimates
- Key relationships built with subcontractors and vendors
- Teambuilding within the department and other business units
- Estimated cost vs. actual cost
- No or very limited physical effort required.
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
