As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to lead and grow our litigation practice in close collaboration with the Firm's Founder. This is a strategic, senior-level opportunity for a results-driven attorney who values autonomy, influence, and the ability to shape a practice without the bureaucracy of a large firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
- Advise clients on commercial disputes, corporate governance issues, shareholder matters, and business dissolutions.
- Develop and implement case strategy, manage discovery, draft pleadings, and handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Collaborate directly with the Firm Founder and senior leadership to develop and expand the litigation practice.
- Oversee and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
- Maintain and grow client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand the firm's client base.
- Manage workflow efficiently while upholding the firm's high standards of professionalism and client care.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Florida Bar (in good standing).
- Minimum 12 years of business and civil litigation experience with proven trial experience (at least six jury trials tried to verdict preferred).
- Strong commercial litigation background, including corporate, real estate, and partnership disputes.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and client communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple matters independently.
- Demonstrated business development skills and an existing portable book of business strongly preferred.
- Direct Partnership Track with senior-level entry, based on experience and business portfolio.
- Significant autonomy to shape and grow the firm's litigation practice area.
- Close collaboration with the Firm Owner in a culture rooted in transparency, trust, and strategic growth.
- Operational and administrative support - focus on clients and business development while we handle the back office.
- Competitive compensation tied to origination and performance, with meaningful upside for growth-oriented attorneys.
- Base salary starting at $150,000 , commensurate with experience and portable business.
- Performance-based origination and collections incentives.
