Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead and develop a new Civil Engineering department. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive strategic growth. The ideal candidate will oversee project delivery, mentor engineers, support business development, and ensure high-quality engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage the Civil Engineering department.
• Provide mentorship and supervision to engineering staff.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record and ensure technical accuracy across all projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project execution.
• Lead project proposals, budgeting, and client relationship development.
• Oversee project timelines, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active Idaho PE license.
• 10 years of civil engineering experience, including project management.
• Proven leadership or department-level management experience.
• Strong understanding of Idaho engineering regulations and permitting processes.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D or Carlson Civil.

• Experience in commercial and residential land development.
