This role is ideal for an attorney with experience representing homeowners in disputes involving hail, wind, fire, water, and other property damage claims, with the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution and advocate for policyholders in complex litigation.

- Manage first-party homeowner property insurance claims from inception through settlement or trial.
- Represent homeowners in disputes involving hail, wind, fire, water, and other covered property damage.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analyze insurance policies, claims, and applicable law.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.
- Take and defend depositions of insureds, insurance adjusters, experts, and corporate representatives.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations and arbitrations.
- Represent clients in court, including hearings and trials when necessary.
- Communicate regularly with clients and provide clear updates regarding case status and legal strategy.
- Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and attorneys to effectively manage cases.
- Stay current on developments in insurance law and first-party property claims.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Colorado Bar
- 2 years of litigation experience.
- First-party property damage litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Experience handling homeowner insurance claims is highly valued.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Experience with discovery, depositions, mediation, and litigation proceedings.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
