Responsibilities
- Assist trial attorneys during trials
- Draft and prepare pleadings and other legal documents
- File court pleadings in state and federal courts
- Schedule depositions, meetings, and hearings
- Communicate with expert witnesses, attorneys, and other paralegals
- Maintain organized case files and trial materials
- Provide trial support, including occasional travel for out-of-town trials
- Previous paralegal experience preferred (medical malpractice or litigation experience a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with legal research tools, Microsoft Office, and case management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
