Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal to join a busy medical malpractice defense practice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced trial environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and other legal professionals in a supportive, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist trial attorneys during trials
• Draft and prepare pleadings and other legal documents
• File court pleadings in state and federal courts
• Schedule depositions, meetings, and hearings
• Communicate with expert witnesses, attorneys, and other paralegals
• Maintain organized case files and trial materials
• Provide trial support, including occasional travel for out-of-town trials
  
  

Requirements

• Previous paralegal experience preferred (medical malpractice or litigation experience a plus)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with legal research tools, Microsoft Office, and case management software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
