Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with personal injury litigation matters from case inception through settlement and trial.
- Draft discovery documents, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, conducting legal research, and maintaining case files.
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Conduct legal research and assist with case investigations.
- Maintain accurate and organized case records and documentation.
- Manage multiple cases and deadlines in a high-volume litigation environment.
- Provide general litigation and administrative support to attorneys as needed.
- Assist attorneys during court proceedings and other litigation-related activities.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive client information.
- Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in a law firm.
- Experience handling Personal Injury matters, either plaintiff-side or defense-side.
- Strong legal research and investigative skills.
- Experience drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Strong organizational and case management skills.
- Ability to assist with trial preparation and litigation proceedings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with litigation software and case management systems is a plus.
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a paralegal certificate from an accredited program is preferred but not required.
- Excellent computer and typing skills.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure, and maintain a professional and positive attitude.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
