The attorney will handle legal tasks related to medical malpractice cases, including client consultations, preparing legal documents, conducting research, providing legal advice, communicating with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel, attending court hearings, mediation, and trial, handling all aspects of litigation including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, and negotiating on behalf of clients. The role may also include courtroom representation and collaboration with colleagues to build strong case strategies.QualificationsProficiency in Law and Medical Malpractice LawStrong skills in providing Legal Advice and conducting thorough ResearchMinimum of 3 years of Medical Practice experience, preferably in defenseEffective Negotiation skills and the ability to mediate disputesExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesJuris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Florida BarPrior experience in medical malpractice or healthcare law is a plus
