Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations, assess liability, develop and implement litigation strategies.
- Manage client medical treatment, case files, draft demand letters, and negotiate settlements.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responses; take and defend depositions.
- Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, and courtroom hearings.
- Serve as first or second chair in trials, assist in jury selection, direct/cross-examinations, and case presentation.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar membership in good standing.
- Minimum 5 years personal injury litigation experience with first or second-chair trial experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Salary: $150,000 - $250,000/year with discretionary bonuses.
