Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review mechanical construction estimates and project takeoffs.
- Verify quantities, material costs, labor requirements, and subcontractor pricing.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and quotations.
- Work closely with leadership to review estimates and finalize bids before submission.
- Ensure estimates are accurate, complete, and submitted within deadlines.
- Identify potential project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and scope discrepancies.
- Maintain estimating documentation and support the bid preparation process.
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical estimating, preferably in mechanical contracting.
- Previous experience in a lead estimating capacity.
- Strong understanding of mechanical construction projects, materials, labor, and costs.
- Experience reviewing takeoffs and preparing customer-ready estimates.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, project teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
