- Case Management: Assist in the full lifecycle of complex class action litigation, from case initiation through resolution. Tasks include performing in-depth legal analysis, preparing pleadings, and supporting trial and deposition preparation.
- Client Relations: Serve as a liaison between the legal team and clients, ensuring timely communication, addressing case-related questions, and managing client concerns professionally.
- Legal Analysis & Drafting: Conduct detailed legal research to support case strategy and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Discovery Process: Participate in all phases of discovery, including preparing and reviewing discovery requests and responses, and contributing to deposition readiness and document production.
- Litigation Support: Attend and provide support at court proceedings such as motion hearings, status conferences, and trials.
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in class action litigation within employment law.
- Licensure: Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of procedural and strategic aspects of class action lawsuits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal information effectively.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent multitasking and time management skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
