Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical / Computer Engineer to support new product development and ongoing product maintenance in the controls and IoT space. This role involves designing control systems, embedded firmware, communication solutions, and connected applications, while also supporting production and customer needs.

Engineers in this role will work across hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing, gaining end-to-end ownership of products from concept through deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems
• Experience setting up and maintaining IDEs
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, and Git
• Knowledge of A/D converters, microprocessors, and transistors
• Basic understanding of ICs, PCB design, and assembly techniques
• Experience with IoT environments, including apps, APIs, servers, and network infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to manage tasks through completion and report progress effectively
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team on hardware, firmware, and production for new and existing products
• Support production and manufacturing for current product lines
• Interface with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to connected systems, communication products, and remote sensor networks
