Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of family law cases including client consultations, pleadings, discovery, negotiations, and litigation
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Draft motions, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and support staff
- Contribute to firm growth through client relationship management and community outreach
- Maintain compliance with ethical standards and firm policies
- 3 years of family law experience
- Active Virginia Bar License
- Strong legal writing, analysis, and drafting skills
- Ability to travel to different courts in Northern Virginia
