Roles And Responsibilities
- Advise municipal clients on local government and public sector legal matters.
- Represent public entities in court and administrative proceedings.
- Manage civil litigation cases from inception through resolution.
- Handle land use and zoning matters, including planning and zoning board appearances.
- Draft resolutions, ordinances, contracts, legal opinions, memoranda, pleadings, and attend municipal meetings as needed.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active New Jersey Bar license required.
- 10 years of experience in municipal law, land use, civil litigation, and/or workers' compensation.
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey local government law and procedures.
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Compensation is based on experience.
