Job Description

Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.

- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
- Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
- May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
- Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
- Swing Shift- Hours Monday thru Friday 4PM to 2:30 AM (plus 2 hrs. OT daily) 10 Hrs. OT required on Sunday ( 9 AM to 5 PM)
- Requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.
- Mechanical testing experience accepted
- Robotics experience accepted, anybody who likes to work/ wrench on things mechanical.
- Preferred Degree: Mechanical degree then electrical degree
- No more than 10 years max experience.
- Must be comfortable working in a Clean Room environment
- Lifting up to 50 lbs (assisted)
