- Involved in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation, with increasing responsibility based on experience and performance.
- Defend clients in toxic tort, product liability, trucking/transportation, and premises liability matters
- Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and motions
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Assist with and attend depositions, mediations, and court hearings
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy
- Support trial preparation and case management activities
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Interest in civil litigation defense and long-term professional growth
