Position Overview:
You will handle sophisticated defense matters across medical malpractice, general liability, and/or public entity litigation in a collaborative, well-supported environment. Attorneys are given real responsibility early, backed by strong mentorship, partners, and dedicated paralegal/law clerk support. You’ll manage cases through all stages of litigation with exposure to strategy, depositions, and trial work.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
Junior: 1–4 years of litigation experience (insurance defense or related preferred).
Lateral: 4 years of experience in medical malpractice, general liability, or public entity defense.
Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage cases independently while working in a team-driven environment.
What’s in it for you:
The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 - $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
