Duties
• Represent employers in labor and employment litigation before California state courts and federal courts.
• Handle wage and hour class actions and representative actions.
• Defend wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and workplace tort claims.
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and discovery motions.
• Conduct all phases of discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and expert coordination.
• Prepare witnesses and corporate representatives for depositions and hearings.
• Provide employment counseling on California and federal employment laws.
• Advise employers regarding compliance with workplace regulations and evolving employment legislation.
• Draft and revise employment agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks, workplace policies, and compliance documents.
• Conduct internal workplace investigations involving employee complaints and misconduct allegations.
• Develop litigation strategies designed to minimize legal exposure and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients on complex employment matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical legal advice.
• Perform sophisticated legal research and prepare persuasive legal memoranda.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the Labor & Employment practice.

• 5–7 years of labor and employment defense experience.
