Our Challenge:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Lead AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS. You will lead DevOps best practices, automate deployment workflows, and collaborate with development teams to improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.


Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Boston, MA is $135K - $145K/year & benefits (see below).


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, including VPCs, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services.
  • Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or other tools.
  • Ensure the security, compliance, and availability of cloud environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS features and DevOps practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in AWS cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and best practices in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
