We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead projects within the Insurance domain specializing in Life and Annuity/Retirement Benefits to join our team.. Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Piscataway, NJ is $120-130 k/year & benefits (see below).
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage insurance-related projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage project teams, vendors, and resources effectively.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations and standards.
- Report project status to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
Skillsets:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the insurance industry, specifically in Life and Annuity/Retirement Benefits.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMP or relevant project management certification is preferred.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific compliance and standards
