Our challenge
Synechron is seeking a seasoned, C-suite–facing Senior Client Partner to lead one of our largest and most strategic global banking relationships. This is a high-impact executive role for a proven leader with 20 years of experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise accounts within Tier-1 financial institutions.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client executives, own significant P&L responsibility, and drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives across the global organization.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $200k - $220k/year & benefits (see below)
The Role
Responsibilities:
Executive Relationship & Strategic Leadership
- Build and expand deep, trust-based relationships with C-suite and Board-level stakeholders across global banking organizations.
- Act as a strategic advisor on technology transformation, innovation, and business outcomes across multiple lines of business.
Account Growth & P&L Ownership
- Own and grow a large global account portfolio with ARR responsibility of $50M .
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global account strategy focused on transformational growth across AI, cloud modernization, data, payments, and risk & compliance.
Large Deal Origination & Sales Leadership
- Originate, structure, negotiate, and close complex, multi-year, multi-million-dollar deals leveraging Synechron’s global delivery and domain expertise.
- Drive consistent net-new revenue through new service lines, programs, and strategic initiatives.
Delivery Oversight & Governance
- Provide executive oversight across global programs to ensure delivery excellence, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner closely with delivery and engineering leaders to maintain the highest quality standards.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Serve as a visible thought leader and innovation partner, advising clients on emerging technologies, industry disruption, and regulatory change.
- Position Synechron as a long-term, strategic partner rather than a transactional vendor.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead and mentor a high-performing, global, cross-functional account team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous growth.
Requirements:
- 20–25 years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or consulting within the banking or financial services industry
- Proven track record managing and growing large global accounts ($50M ARR)
- Deep understanding of Tier-1 bank operating models, compliance, and regulatory environments
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue targets.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite and Board levels.
- Deep knowledge of landscapes of banking technology including cloud, data, AI, payments, and capital markets platforms.
- Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to navigate complex, global, matrixed organizations.
Preferred, but not required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field required
- MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
