Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end applications using Angular and related technologies. Knowledge of Java backend development is a plus, enabling seamless collaboration with backend teams.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is $105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Angular applications with a focus on Micro Frontend architecture.
- Implement and manage state using RXJS, NGRX, and other state management libraries.
- Develop reusable, testable, and efficient front-end components and services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional web applications using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Write clean, well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work closely with backend developers, preferably with some Java knowledge, to integrate RESTful APIs and other services.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical discussions and code reviews.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Angular Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Expertise in Micro Frontend architecture and implementation.
- Deep understanding of RXJS for reactive programming.
- Hands-on experience with NGRX or other state management libraries.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for responsive UI development.
- Good understanding of front-end build tools, testing frameworks, and version control.
- Knowledge of Java backend development is preferred, enabling better collaboration and understanding of full-stack requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other front-end frameworks or libraries.
- Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
