Our challenge:
seeking a skilled Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) with expertise in GenAI tools to join our team in Charlotte NC . The successful candidate will lead the deployment, scaling, and optimization of GenAI solutions such as Devin, Claude Code, and Cursor across the engineering teams. This hands-on full-stack engineering role involves building, integrating, and managing AI-powered solutions within enterprise software development lifecycle (SDLC) workflows.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $140k - $150k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role:
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end rollout of Devin, Claude Code, and Cursor across CDXO and Line of Business (LOB) engineering teams.
- Act as hands-on full-stack developers to build and integrate solutions into enterprise SDLC workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, repository management, and APIs.
- Define and execute enterprise rollout strategies, including phased onboarding, scaling models, and adoption plans.
- Partner closely with LOB teams to enhance product delivery lifecycle through the effective utilization of GenAI tools.
- Conduct developer onboarding, training, and enablement sessions, promoting best practices in prompt engineering and workflow integration.
- Monitor tool usage, performance, and efficiency metrics; continuously optimize adoption and outcomes.
- Provide troubleshooting, performance tuning, and scaling support to engineering teams.
- Establish and promote best practices and reusable playbooks for enterprise-wide GenAI adoption.
- Ensure all deployment activities align with governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Successful deployment and scaling of Devin, Claude Code, and Cursor across relevant teams.
- Demonstrable improvements in the product delivery lifecycle, enabling faster development, testing, and remediation cycles through GenAI tools.
- Increased developer productivity and automation outcomes driven by effective GenAI tool utilization.
- Standardized enterprise playbooks and best practices for GenAI adoption across teams.
- Continuous monitoring, reporting, and refinement of adoption metrics, usage efficiency, and value realization.
- Stable, secure, and governed integration of GenAI tools within the enterprise SDLC ecosystem.
- Proactive identification and resolution of adoption gaps, inefficiencies, and scaling challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in full-stack development, ideally within enterprise settings.
- Strong understanding of AI/GenAI tools, deployment strategies, and enterprise workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and repositories.
- Ability to lead change management, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance standards in large organizations.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in banking or financial services environments.
- Familiarity with banking domain, governance frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of DevOps, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
