Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at a private school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, particularly those with autism, and possess a passion for childhood development and literacy education.
Responsibilities
- Assist in educating and supporting students with autism
- Implement behavior management strategies to support student learning
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive learning environment
- Provide individualized support to students based on their needs
- Assist in toddler care and Montessori activities
- Support students in literacy education and other academic areas
Experience
- Previous experience working with children, especially in a childcare or educational setting
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Experience working in a private school environment is a plus
- Training or certification in Montessori education would be beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
