Position Overview
We are seeking a Workday Techno-Functional Consultant to support and enhance our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) ecosystem. This role bridges HR business processes and technical system configuration, ensuring Workday solutions align with organizational workforce strategies and operational needs.
The ideal candidate combines strong functional HR knowledge with hands-on Workday configuration, integrations, and reporting expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, and Benefits stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into Workday solutions.
- Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules including:
- Core HCM
- Business Process Framework (BPF)
- Compensation
- Talent & Performance
- Recruiting
- Absence Management
- Benefits Administration
- Security Roles & Organizations
- Analyze HR processes and recommend system improvements and automation opportunities.
- Support Workday releases, feature adoption, and continuous optimization initiatives.
- Provide functional guidance on best practices and Workday capabilities.
Technical Responsibilities
- Configure Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and notifications.
- Develop and maintain integrations using:
- Workday Studio
- EIB
- Core Connectors
- Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
- Build dashboards, custom reports, and analytics using Workday reporting tools.
- Troubleshoot data issues, integration failures, and system defects.
- Support data migrations, testing cycles, and system implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of Workday HCM experience in a techno-functional role.
- Hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM modules.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and lifecycle processes.
- Experience with Workday integrations and reporting.
- Knowledge of Workday security framework.
- Experience supporting Workday implementations or post-production environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certifications (HCM, Integrations, Reporting, or Security).
- Experience with Workday Payroll or Time Tracking.
- Knowledge of HRIS data governance and compliance standards.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Background supporting global HR systems.
