QA Test Analyst 4 (Onsite | Mossville, IL)
Pay Rate: 50/hr
Contract Length: 24 months
We are supporting a global engineering organization in hiring a QA Test Analyst to join a team working on advanced embedded software and UI systems used in heavy equipment and large-scale industrial applications. This role focuses on validating software, executing test plans, developing automation scripts, and ensuring stable, reliable system performance in the field.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional engineering teams across the U.S. and Canada to support new feature releases, analyze defects, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Execute test plans for new software releases
• Develop new test plans for features, updates, and bug fixes
• Validate embedded software and user interface behavior
• Identify, reproduce, and document defects
• Collaborate with developers and system engineers on triage and debugging
• Script automation in Python
• Work with SIL/HIL systems and troubleshoot hardware test environments
• Maintain clear, structured test documentation
Required Skills:
• 3 years of software validation experience
• Strong experience with Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)
• Python scripting and test automation
• Test case creation and documentation
• Electronic hardware troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills
Nice to Have:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Master’s acceptable with required experience
