Swoon is hiring for our Energy & Utilities Client in Houston, TX (Hybrid - 1x a week onsite).
This is a 12-month contract opportunity to start with Benefits – Health, Dental & Vision (50% of premium is covered for contractor).
Position Summary
This role supports payment operations through high-volume data entry and transaction processing. The position is heavily focused on reviewing customer payment information, applying payments accurately within internal systems, and conducting basic research to ensure proper allocation.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys structured, detail-oriented work and can operate independently in a repetitive, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry within internal payment systems
- Review customer payment details and determine appropriate application
- Research discrepancies and support accurate payment allocation
- Assist team members with similar payment-related research tasks
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across repetitive workflows
- Utilize Excel for data sorting, filtering, and basic lookups
- Work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule – onsite every Wednesday, remote the remainder of the week
