MUST HAVES:
- Education & Experience Required:Years of experience: 8-10 years HS diploma/GED (min)
- Experience in logistics, material handling, inventory control, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory accuracy, material audits, and RCCA methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret reports, and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience leading or coordinating work for a team in a shop or logistics environment.

Summary:
The main function of a logistics planning analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical planning analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review and approve documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
• Review and approve documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
• Confer with department supervisors and other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
• Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages or other interruptions.
• Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
• Confer with establishment personnel, vendors and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities and resolve complaints or eliminate delays.

- Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
The Logistics Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) Liaison is accountable for sustaining high inventory accuracy across client material handling and production support processes. This role serves as the site subject?matter liaison for inventory discrepancies, leading Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) for hot part requests, mis-picks, and audit failures. The position manages a team of six employees, prioritizes daily execution, tracks IRA performance metrics, and partners with Operations, Planning, and Point of Use (POU) teams to protect production flow and customer commitments.
- Typical task breakdown:
- Inventory Record Accuracy & Contro
- lEnsure accurate inventory records across all Material Tracking Systems (MTS), storage locations, kitting areas, supermarkets, and POU.
- Maintain alignment between MTS inventory and MRP inventory, identifying gaps and driving corrective actions.
- Support and lead inventory audits including 750 audits, cycle counts, and targeted accuracy validations.
- Ensure adherence to established client material control processes and standard work.
- Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA)Lead RCCA investigations for hot parts requests, identifying systemic drivers impacting production.
- Perform RCCA for mis-picks identified in Verify, ensuring corrective actions prevent recurrence.
- Perform RCCA for mis-picks identified in Operations and at Point of Use (POU).
- Track and drive corrective actions to closure, validating effectiveness and sustainability.
- Reporting, Systems & Audit TrailsExecute and analyze reports to identify discrepancies between MTS and MRP inventory records.
