Swoon is hiring an Indirect Buyer to support purchasing for a manufacturing facility in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, you’ll source the goods and services that keep plant operations running, manage purchase orders, and work directly with suppliers to resolve time-sensitive needs.

What You’ll Do
- Purchase non-production materials and services supporting maintenance, facilities, tooling, safety, and other plant needs.
- Review requisitions, clarify requirements, obtain competitive quotes, and evaluate pricing, quality, availability, and lead times.
- Create and maintain accurate purchase orders in an ERP or purchasing system.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms, confirm delivery dates, and follow up on open orders and urgent requests.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, damaged materials, returns, and supplier performance concerns.
- Keep stakeholders informed of order status, potential delays, and actions needed to keep work moving.
- Maintain purchasing documentation and follow procurement controls and purchase-to-pay processes.
- This position includes periodic time on the plant floor, approximately 10–20%, where appropriate PPE is required. No travel is currently planned.
