Swoon is hiring for our energy and utilities-focused client in Houston and this will be a hybrid position requiring onsite presence 1 day per week. This will be a 12-month contract with Benefits - Health, Dental & Vision with potential to extend.
This role is focused on billing operations, utility data validation, and issue resolution support. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, excellent communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and data-related issues
- Review incoming utility data and ensure accurate system entry
- Coordinate with utility providers to obtain missing or incorrect information
- Respond to inquiries and cases submitted by internal sales teams
- Analyze billing data and identify inconsistencies or trends
- Support ongoing billing and operational processes
- Communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication and customer support abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SQL or basic SQL knowledge
- Experience in billing operations, utilities, or data support environments
