About the Role
PG&E is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and support complex programs focused on operational processes, strategic systems thinking, and governance structures. This role requires strong experience in program/project management, ideally within the utility or similar regulated industries, and the ability to manage initiatives that involve technology systems, data ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage moderate to complex programs and initiatives independently
- Provide direction on program plans, goals, and implementation strategies
- Own and manage program deliverables and execution timelines
- Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership
- Develop and monitor budget forecasts, identify variances, and recommend solutions
- Create and analyze reports and business insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational processes and governance structures
- Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Support initiatives within a regulated environment and ensure compliance alignment
- Participate in workshops and meetings across Bay Area office locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- 6 years of Program or Project Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong knowledge of Program Management methodologies and best practices
- Experience in utilities or similar regulated industries preferred
- Understanding of technology systems, data governance, and operational processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a regulatory environment preferred
- Ability to travel up to once per month to Bay Area office locations
