The engineer will support product quality, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with production teams and technical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with product and process control procedures
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing quality issues
- Support development and optimization of products, equipment, and processes
- Collaborate with operations teams, shift leaders, and production personnel
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Support operational needs during off-shift or weekend schedules when required
- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering
- 1 year of related engineering or internship experience
- Understanding of metallurgy, thermodynamics, material processing, and engineering calculations
- Ability to work within manufacturing operations environments
- U.S. work authorization meeting ITAR requirements
- Aluminum or metals industry experience
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- AS9100 or IATF16949 quality systems experience
- Statistical analysis and manufacturing process improvement experience
