Storekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to support warehouse and inventory operations. This role is responsible for handling materials and products within the warehouse while ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and inventory controls. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, label, store, pick, pack, and issue inventory materials
- Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders
- Report discrepancies or damaged materials promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counting activities
- Prepare outgoing shipments with proper packaging and documentation
- Support kitting, Kanban replenishment, and other materials management initiatives
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
- Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment after training/certification
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or technical education required
- Technical or vocational training in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is a plus
- 1-3 years of warehouse, inventory control, or materials management experience preferred
- Experience receiving, issuing, and storing materials
- Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
- Basic knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems (SAP or similar preferred)
- Ability to use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, email, and data entry
- Material receiving and inspection
- Stock storage and binning practices
- FIFO / FEFO inventory methods
- Warehouse safety procedures and safe material handling
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable, accountable, and safety-focused
- Pay Rate: $20/hour
