- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously

- Computer literate
- Receives patient calls in a high-volume call center environment and schedules patients with the appropriate provider
- Uses multiple systems to determine appointment availability and book the correct appointments
- Collects relevant patient demographic information, including insurance coverage and medical history
- Educates patients on the referral process and coordinates any necessary diagnostic testing
- Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of treatment protocols and specialty providers related to eye diseases and vision care
- Maintains patient confidentiality
