Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Summary:
This is a non- exempt position, where the employee will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable for service and spare parts, and providing general administrative support across the organization.
Responsibilities:
· Accounts Payable – Process incoming vendor invoices, obtain necessary approvals from project managers, voucher to ERP, prepare check runs and ACH/wire payments. Process employee expense reimbursements.
· Accounts Receivable – Process customer invoices, create and enter into ERP, distribute to project managers and customers, follow up with collections and enter cash applications into ERP.
· General Accounting – month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis & reporting
· Other duties as required
Education/Experience Requirements:
· Associate’s degree
· Minimum 3 years of general business experience
· Experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience with a manufacturing company preferred
