Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Pittsburgh, PA, for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. The role involves designing and developing mechanical systems, including kilns, furnaces, dryers, and related industrial equipment. Responsibilities include machine design, creating CAD models for production, managing projects, conducting research and development to improve system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also oversee the entire design process, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and support system upgrades and optimization to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering concepts and principles with the ability to apply them to industrial system design
• Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for high-quality system modeling
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial engineering
• Experience in kiln or industrial furnace design is highly desirable
